On Saturday, April 13, 2013, Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast in Ruston to offer our thanks to the many people and groups who volunteer to help care for our children and support our ministries to children and families in Louisiana.
Following a time to visit with each other, volunteers enjoyed a small breakfast and heard words of appreciation from Chaplain Edie DeVilbiss and CEO Rick Wheat. Each volunteer received a one-of-a-kind gift prepared for them by the famous Follette Pottery. Following the event, volunteers were given tours of the Ruston campus.
