12 Ways You Can Make a Difference
We welcome your participation in the care we provide children and families. Below are some simple ways you can help make a difference!
Pray
Our work is a ministry. Pray for the children and families for whom we care. Pray for our staff. Pray for inspired hearts, informed minds and strong commitment to serve.
Volunteer

Donate to the Cause
We cannot pursue our mission without your support. Donations include honorariums, memorials, undesignated gifts, wills and bequest or gifts designated for any other program offered on campus. Send donations to Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home, P. O. Box 929, Ruston, LA 71273-0929.

Sponsor an Angel Tree
Become an Angel Tree sponsor by having a special Christmas tree at your church. We will provide you with “wish cards” including the gender and age of the youth and a recommended gift. For more information, contact the Development Department at (318) 242-4664.
Take advantage of our Christmas Honor Card Program
Honor friends, families and business associates during the holidays with a gift to help care for the children. Send us your Christmas Card list with a donation, and we will send a personalized Christmas Card to each honoree signing your name as you indicate. Share an LMCH “Success Story” during a sermon

Sponsor a fund raiser in your community
Hold a fund raiser and direct the proceeds from a garage sale or a dinner to Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home. Baked potato or spaghetti luncheons are always a success. For more information, contact the Development Department at (318) 242-4664.
Become a Local Church Representative (LCR) for Your Congregation

Educate others of the Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home ministry. Gather a group of your friends and invite one of our staff to visit and tell you about our work on behalf of children and families across Louisiana.
