Ruston, LA – April 26, 2015 – Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston hosted its annual Homecoming festivities this past weekend.
The weekend started off with a fish fry at the Outdoor Wilderness Learning Center in Dubach, and continued with Chapel on the Ruston campus on Sunday morning followed by coffee and breakfast at the James House, where alumni had the opportunity to mingle and talk as well as peruse old photo albums from their days at the Home.
With nearly 80 alumni and family members in attendance on Saturday evening and more than
20 visiting with us on Sunday, we consider the weekend’s events a success. Lunch was served in the Holt Recreation Building and then events wrapped up with a trip to Webb Hall for some to purchase Screamin’ OWL Salsa and Jelly. Others returned to James House for more time with the photo albums and old friends. If you are an alumnus of the Home, we hope you will plan to be with us for next year’s Homecoming events which will be held the weekend of the 4th Sunday in April.
