The United Methodist Men’s group of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Monroe, LA, recently held their 11th Annual “To Do at the Zoo” with proceeds benefiting Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home.

Since 2005, when the UMM of St. Paul’s UMC began the annual “To Do at the Zoo”, their efforts have raised $153,500 to support the work of Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home.

The fun event, held at Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo, boasted great food provided by UMM members and entertainment by Inky the Clown. In addition to donating the proceeds of the event to the Home, the St. Paul’s UMM also invited youth, staff and their families to come out and participate in the festivities as well as a walk through the zoo. Many of the Children’s Home youth and their staff, as well as some of our staff’s families were in attendance.IMG_1497
