The OWL Center staff would like to thank the many work and volunteer groups that come to the facility throughout the year. Recent groups include The Well UMC from Ponchatoula, and Lufkin United Methodist Church from Lufkin, Texas.

These groups helped tremendously with a variety of projects including: picking berries, clearing trails, picking up limbs, making salsa and jelly, weeding the garden, and cleaning the hot houses. We would also like to say a big “thank you” to Julie Barnwell and the Student Life group from Enon Baptist Church in Morris, Alabama. This group helped with the major undertaking of weeding the garden
