Construction of additional classrooms is well underway at Methodist Children’s Home of Southwest Louisiana. This new construction in Sulphur, Louisiana, will greatly enhance the educational environment, offer more room for instruction, and allow for smaller class sizes. By adding two classrooms, teachers will be able to maintain class sizes at six student per class room for the 24 residents.

This new addition was designed by Mr. E. J. Ellender, the architect who designed the Home which was dedicated in 2011. These new classrooms will be indistinguishable from the original construction.
