One of our MST Therapists was recently recognized with an ESSIE Award. This award was presented to Aida Mendez, an MST Therapist in our Shreveport office, for Outstanding Client Engagement. Multisystemic Therapy is a family and community-based therapy for juveniles. This type of therapy is offered through the Family Plus program of Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services.

The criteria for the award was determined by phone surveys of MST client families and Ms. Mendez ranks in the top 1% of all MST Therapists Worldwide. Other requirements included being fully licensed and in their current position for a year. Their average score on the TAMS data surveys must be above the minimum threshold of 61 among many other requirements. Aida was presented this award by MST Consultant Sandy Crotts and said of receiving the award, “I am part of a great team, and have been given great support.”
