At Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services, we strive to provide opportunities for our staff to learn and grow to be the best leaders they can be!

Enter Leadership Schools, offered by our Staff Development Department. Each year, staff are invited to participate in a year-long Leadership class, with the potential to advance in instruction each year. Leadership classes involve hands-on team-building exercises, valuable video training from sources such as Willow Creek’s Global Leadership Conference speakers, field trips and assignments.

We are pleased to announce that we recently celebrated more than 70 staff, as they completed their Leadership training for the 2016-2017 period!

Each class was recognized by their instructors, Gary Rambin, Chris Willis and Don Johnson, and awarded a certificate and t-shirt. A lunch celebration/graduation was held in the chapel on our Ruston campus and staff from all across the state were in attendance. President/CEO Rick Wheat spoke at the celebration,  congratulating all graduates.

We look forward to a new year of Leadership training as these graduates advance and as new staff begin their training!
