Youth have kicked off a week of community service to close out the end of summer. Several of our girls spent their first day serving at Christian Community Action in Ruston. The girls and their staff worked with CCA volunteer Mrs. Vicki and learned about the services CCA provides, and helped sort through donated food items and stocked shelves.

In addition, the girls painted and decorated 100 brown paper grocery bags with prayers, Bible verses, and inspirational messages. The highlight of the day was when they were able to stuff their decorated bags full of groceries to go out to needy families in the community. The girls enjoyed helping so much that they asked to come back again in the future!
