Youth from Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church embarked several days ago on a “Uth Kwior” Tour. Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home in Ruston was blessed to be on the list of places they visited during their tour. The group from Flower Mound, TX was a lively and inspiring crew, singing a great mix of older Christian songs, as well as some newer and upbeat songs that got our youth and even Rev. Edie to their feet singing and clapping along!

In addition to performing a 30-40 minute set of songs, the youth brought lots of  sports equipment for our Recreation department. Their donation included frisbees, baseballs, baseball gloves, equipment bags, volleyballs, soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, air pumps for the balls, more than 100 t-shirts and 80 cheerleader pom-poms! Wow! Thank you so much to this awesome group of kids who are spreading God’s love this summer.
