Doug Hall, Development and Public Relations Field Officer for Southeast Louisiana, spoke about the Methodist Children’s Home of Greater New Orleans, as well as various programs of our ministry during a meeting of the Lakeshore Lions Club in Baton Rouge this past Monday.

This group of committed members found a way to keep and attend their scheduled meeting, though many of the surrounding streets were flooded. In addition to discussing how they would respond to the immediate needs of their community, many members expressed a great interest in wanting to help support the children and families we serve and will serve in the future at our new Home in Robert, LA.

We would love to speak to your civic or church group in Louisiana. Please contact our Development office to schedule a speaker for your meeting: 318-255-5575
