Several of the OWL Center Staff participated in the LSU Ag Center Master Gardener’s Class this past spring. Samantha Luttrell, Tammy Stevens, Cindy Croft and Sara Corley took part in classes from March to the end of May. The subjects covered in the class included plant pathology, vegetable gardening, ornamental horticulture, and many other subjects. They passed the test and graduated as official Master Gardeners on May 25th. The staff hope to use these new skills and contacts to increase the production, educational opportunities, and programs within the OWL Center Horticulture Program.ta
