Olympic theme during July awards chapel!

During our July Awards Chapel, we kicked off our very own Olympic Competition being held on our Ruston campus. One of our youth carried in the Olympic “torch,” everyone sang the National Anthem, and youth learned some of the history and traditions of the Olympics!

Youth and staff who wish to compete in the LMCH’s Olympic Games have the opportunity to sign up for a wide-variety of competitions in sports such as basketball, soccer, weight lifting, discus throw, shot put, long jump, volleyball and the 40 and 100 yard dash. There is something for everyone! The 2-week competition will culminate in a ceremony complete with medal presentations.

Thanks to our Recreation department and all staff who are helping to make this happen for our youth!
