Doug Hall received President’s Award, 2012
You may have met our south Louisiana Development Officer, Doug Hall. The man goes everywhere!

And after you meet Doug, you won’t forget him anytime soon. His enthusiasm for the programs of Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services (LUMCFS) is evident to everyone he encounters. Doug has worked for LUMCFS for 8 years. Having relocated to Louisiana from California, Doug has embraced the culture and easy-going, friendly nature of the wonderful people of south Louisiana.

Doug travels throughout south Louisiana cultivating relationships as he strives to connect people with our agency’s mission of Guiding Children and Families Home to Experience God’s Love by Following the Teachings of Christ. He is very passionate and dedicated to his work, and says “I like representing an agency that helps our youth, which ultimately helps our communities and our state.”

When asked what he loves most about his work, Doug said, “I enjoy showing people opportunities that are available for them to get involved on whatever level they are ready to become involved, whether it be giving of their time, their money or whatever gifts they may have that are unique to them. It’s all very important to the youth we serve across the state.”

Doug was recently recognized by our President/CEO Rick Wheat as an employee who goes above and beyond in his role with the agency. He was given the President’s Award at the annual staff luncheon and awards ceremony.

Across Louisiana, LUMCFS is blessed to have dedicated employees like Doug Hall who serve in different capacities, all of whom are instrumental in the agency’s ability to serve the youth and families of our state.
