For nearly 125 years, Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Services has been serving children and families with compassion, care, and unwavering commitment. The need for our expertise and care is greater than ever. We are thrilled to introduce the new look of Methodist Children’s Home, a Community of Hope and Healing. With updated branding that better communicates our mission, we are better equipped to meet the needs of Louisiana’s kids. Rooted in love, safety, and therapeutic support, Methodist Children’s Home is a unified community guiding children and families home.
Our new look reaffirms our commitment to being a place of hope and healing as we look to another century of care. Our Mission has been and always will be to “Guide children home…”
Carefully gathering feedback from our community and staff about who we are.
A full year of carefully gathering input from our community, our staff—everyone who helps carry out our Mission—went into developing our new nickname and visual brand. Following this extensive research project among our statewide audiences, we have developed an updated visual brand which builds on our existing well-regarded brand with a modern, inviting look that better communicates who we are today as one of the largest providers of children and family services in the state.
Providing a sense of home.
The nickname Methodist Children’s Home—or MCH, as so many already call us—was already in people’s hearts. And what word better explains the work we do for children and families than the word “Home?”
Every day, our staff across the state and across all programs are being “home” for kids and families. We provide physical homes, yes, but we also provide security, shelter, comfort, guidance, and unconditional love — so many other elements of the idea of home. Our logo and branding now reflect this sense of home present across our programs.
Our updated visual brand reflects the way we’ve grown and evolved as we look forward to another century of care.

We haven’t changed who we are. We are a community rooted in safety, therapeutic care, and unconditional love – the values that have always driven our daily efforts to care for Louisiana’s children. Our Mission is to guide children and families home to experience God’s love. And together, we look forward to another century as Methodist Children’s Home, a Community of Hope and Healing.
