Methodist Children’s Home of Southwest Louisiana is a 24-bed treatment facility focused on delivering comprehensive therapeutic services in a highly structured residential setting for children ages 12-17. We provide an array of services to offer a holistic approach to treatment throughout the region.
We have begun accepting youth ages 12 to 17 of the regular behavioral health population like our Ruston campus which is a standard Psychiatric Residential Therapeutic Facility (PRTF).
With the participation of more than 250 friends gathered for a Dedicatory Service on October 17, 2010, Methodist Children’s Home of Southwest Louisiana was dedicated by the Louisiana Conference of the United Methodist Church.
Made possible in part by the William L. Henning family and Bishop William W. Hutchinson, Methodist Children’s Home of Southwest Louisiana cares for 24 boys in a 25,000 square feet home on a beautiful 40 acre campus, ripe for future development.
